What/When researchers feel is a patchwork zine that highlights the process and the moments when drought and flood researchers were asked to create and to imagine. Together, we asked ourselves: what future(s) might look like; something that we will miss, and new things that might emerge in future(s) when droughts and floods become more frequent, more intense, more unpredictable.
What/When researchers feel shows us that behind the science that tells us what future(s) might look like – through models, scenarios, forecasts, stories, drawings, collaborations,
anything but emotions – are humans who feel, who fear, who despair yet sometimes the only option they have is to turn to knowing, because feeling what the future(s) might feel like is a heavy task that demands beyond what we already know.
We invite you to our patchwork zine: What/When researchers feel
