We now have two opportunities for UK and EU applicants, funded by CENTA-NERC:

Project 1)

Drought Sensitivity of Terrestrial Ecosystems in Europe and North America

  • Exciting new research field studying both drought sensitivity of river flow and terrestrial ecosystems;
  • Unique field observatories: combining data from experimental catchments in Europe and North-America;
  • Interdisciplinary, international supervisory team of experts in drought, ecohydrology, climate change.

Project 2)

Projecting hydroclimatic extremes in the Himalayas for the 21st century

  • Investigating hydroclimatic extremes affecting over 1 bn people in vulnerable regions;
  • Use of cutting-edge climate and hydrological models;
  • Working in an international and interdisciplinary research environment
